POSITION SUMMARY

Act as a key contributor to BB global brand development with the mission to drive awareness, preference and market share. Contribute to the brand and portfolio strategy and communication, ensuring the consumer is at the core of everything we do. Further develop the brand to ensure clear and distinctive branding and provides guidance to the regions to build a strong and truly global brand.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Deeply understands the Plant-Based category and the Plant-Based landscape globally by constantly analyzing the competitive environment and developing relevant insights to develop convincing brand and portfolio strategies. Report KPIs to measure the Brand health.
  • Contributes to the recommendation of an efficient plant-based product portfolio, to get the regions buy-in and to ensure its fast implementation with the objective to drive Plant Based growth and maximize profitability.
  • Provide support to the regional Brand plans, as well as integrated 360° consumer communication campaigns that will give consumers a reason to prefer Better Balance
  • Constantly collaborates with regional and global Customer and Shopper Marketing teams to ensure consistent and flawless execution of in-market plan (distribution and promotion strategy, pricing, new product launches).
  • Contribute to the recommendation of the right consumer engagement strategy (online, offline CRM and e-retailers touchpoints) to bring Better Balance brand purchase funnels to the next level.
  • Aligns with Regional Champions regarding Communication to Food Service Professionals (contribution to material development and support to Congresses).
  • Tracks and analyses performance of Marketing and CRM/Digital activities (global ROI tracker)
  • Manages a striking pool of creative and efficient partners that understand our business priorities.
  • Provides day to day support to the Green Team regarding marketing and insights.
  • Effectively collaborates with Better Balance Marketing, Regulatory, Solutions and Operations global and local teams and with core Sigma Marketing and Insights teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) years’ marketing experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Flexible and open to explore new ways of working
  • Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to influence, coach and motivate others to meet marketing goals
  • Ability to build effective plans to support strategic initiatives
  • Proven organization skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid knowledge of Insights generation (qualitative and quantitative market research, ROI analysis)
  • Good business acumen
  • Proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing
  • CPG experience, ideally in the Food sector
  • A good knowledge of the US consumers, the US retail and Food Service landscape would be a plus
  • Experience in working in global environment with business partners from different functional and cultural backgrounds
  • Project management experience including influencing/leading cross-functional project teams

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Possibility to work remotely
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days at a time
