Job description

Lucky Pawz is a doggy day care and boarding facility with two locations: North Liberty and Iowa City, Iowa. We are currently looking for someone that has handyman skills to help maintain our North Liberty facility. Applicants must also have a passion for dogs! Must be comfortable around all sizes and breeds of dogs while working as dogs will be around the facility. Flexible schedule can vary each week. 10-20 hours per week.

Applicants need to be comfortable working independently on various projects.

Common projects include repairing or installing fencing(wooden and chain link), replacing or repairing doors, door knobs, power washing surfaces, caulking and waterproofing, repairing and installing ceramic tile, metal siding, concrete block. Cleaning and maintaining HVAC filters around facility.

Please have some or all of the following skills/knowledge to apply: safe use of power tools, general carpentry knowledge, framing, painting, basic plumbing, other misc. handyman skills.
