Orla/Pecos

Overview:

Assist professionals in the field in routine activities, including line locating, pigging, pipeline maintenance, compressor maintenance/ shut downs, electrical maintenance and resolving problems in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain gathering system area to minimize downtime, keeping field pressures low and compression running

- Gather and provide system shutdowns (new connects, leak repairs, etc), line pressure maintenance (pigging, balling, drip removal) and lock out/ tag out

- Starting and stopping of compressors, equipment checks, preventative maintenance on engines and compressors

- Perform tank gauging

- Perform minor electrical/ instrumentation maintenance and repair

- Observes condensate truck loading

- Observes custody measurement calibrations and custody meter proving of liquid meters and associated equipment

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required

- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience required, preferably Midstream

- Self- motivated and able to work independently

- Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills

- Good knowledge of control valves

- Must have good verbal and written communication skills

- Must live within 45 mile radius of system

- Must be able to work rotational schedule

- Must be willing to work overtime as needed with minimal notice

- Must possess a valid drivers license and clean driving record

- Candidate will be subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements

- This job will require the ability to use physical force to lift, push , pull and hold equipment and tools. Candidate must be able to regularly bend, stoop, reach, twist and stand for extended periods of time as well as lift up to 50 lbs. This job may also require candidates to be subjected to elements such as rain, snow, extreme heat and cold.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
