PART-TIME GARDEN APPRENTICE / MOWING PERSON

Seasonal position

Interested in gardening and willing to learn.

• Receives daily job tickets with task lists the day before via email from Field Manager.
• Checks in with Garden Team Leader or Project Foreman on site for assignments periodically throughout the day.
• Takes initiative to start and keep flow of work going and to help others if necessary.
• Can catch a ride with Garden Team Leader (Supervisor) – we believe in carpooling.

Completes work assigned in allotted time frame provided by Garden Team Leader, Project Foreman

• Works quickly and efficiently, yet carefully, expectations are reasonable.
• Listens and asks questions to clarify specific tasks.
• Enters own hours and materials daily in real time utilizing LMN, electronic timekeeping system, with app downloaded to own smart phone, which we will teach you how to use.

Represents the face of the company

• Wears neat and clean PBOG uniforms at all times – free uniforms.
• Arrives outfitted with complete set of standard issue hand tools in good working order (tools will be provided by company).
• Answers client questions cheerfully and willingly passes these on to a supervisor if the answer is unknown.

Electric mowing

• We use all electric mowers, wire trimmers, and leaf blowers, we are the good earth stewards of mowing and gardening!
• Will have access to company vehicle and trailer, we will teach you how to do it all!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
