JOB SUMMARY:

WWS in Jerome, Idaho is looking for a Side-Load Garbage Truck Driver for the Magic Valley area. Our drivers are responsible for waste and recycling collection services in order to ensure that the materials are transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner. Job Responsibilities: WWS drivers are responsible for operating waste and recycle trucks in a safe manner. Our drivers must conduct all activities according to the delivery and collection schedule and all relevant company policies and procedures. Drivers must also deal with customers and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner.

JOB DUTIES:

Before Route

Get work orders from table and check in with Site Manager

Get VCR from file folder on wall

Pre-trip truck and start VCR

Make sure you have required PPE

Eligibility requirements:

Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License

Must possess a valid and current Medical Card

Must have DMV motor vehicle record with less than 9

Must have 2 years previous Commercial driving experience

Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with dispatch. also must be able to follow directions, read road signs, maps, and fill out proper forms legibly.

Must have previous knowledge of vehicle safety

Must be able to pass a drug screens and alcohol testing

Must have a clean background with no major moving violations. Background check will be required and reviewed post-hire'
