Come join our team! We have full time and part time openings in our infant, toddler and preschool programs. We are a licensed childcare center that offers developmentally appropriate curriculum through play based learning for ages 6 weeks- 6 years old.
Parkwood Day School Basehor is looking for exceptional lead teachers that have at least 1 year of early childhood experience working in a licensed center and preference will be given to those with an Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Candidates with knowledge of HighScope, Learning Without Tears and Conscious Discipline are desired but not required. Mentoring and ongoing professional development will be provided.
Lead teachers are responsible for writing and utilizing weekly lesson plans and newsletters that will be followed in the classroom. Lead teachers are also required to fully engage and participate with children while in the classroom.
Parkwood Day School Basehor will offer a $250 SIGN ON BONUS to individuals who have all current paperwork filled out and ready to start right away! This includes a current health assessment, a negative TB test, CPR/ First Aid certification, a completed KBI background check, has a college degree, working towards a college degree or has annual training hours completed as well!

At Parkwood Day School Basehor, we follow all current KDHE and CDC guidelines. Daily cleaning and sanitizing are performed by staff and outside janitorial services. Masking may be required on occasion as needed.
