Your Opportunity

The Fuel Sales & Marketing Vice President – North America position is responsible for managing the assigned customer commercial interface and sales activities of the Fuel BU (except CERCA and Zirconium industrial sales) in cooperation with other Fuel entities and FRAMATOME Commercial Excellence sales organization and each S&M unit includes a proposal center. This position reports directly to the Commercial & Customer Center Sales (FC) Division SVP.


What You’ll Do at Framatome

  • Sales
    • Assess the markets, identify customer needs, and track market opportunities
    • Lead the preparation of Fuel offers according to applicable Fuel BU and FRAMATOME offer processes and coordinate the negotiations up to contract signature
    • Fulfill annual and long-term commercial objectives
    • Support Contracts & Services (C&S) in the development of short cycle sales including engineering services, manufacturing services and field services
    • Support New Business (NB) in developing the offering as a result of the customer base and the growth of the customer relationship
  • Planning
    • Elaborate the annual order Intake budgets, prepare, and executes the commercial action plan for the assigned customers with the FC divisions
    • Contribute to the preparation of the Fuel BU strategic action plan, together with the Fuel BU Business & Industrial Development and the other Fuel divisions
    • Contribute to the assessment and implementation of the FRAMATOME Commercial Excellence Program focusing on customer centricity, people development and development of sales standards

    • Provide customer and market intelligence for R&D and product development input
    • Develop external marketing strategies in collaboration with company’s Marketing and Communications division
  • Customer Relations
    • Manages customer intimacy and key actor relationships in coordination with the Fuel BU in North America and Framatome Inc
  • Manage the proposal Center in charge of:
    • Preparation and coordination of offers for all customers assigned to the Subdivision in-line with company requirements
    • Support sales team and/or the related organizations for customer negotiation upon commercial lead request
    • Write draft of proposal and contract upon commercial lead request
    • Manage the Sales pipeline for North American offers
  • Team management
    • Directs the sales teams to meet sales and customer satisfaction targets respecting compliance and ethics
    • Develops, deploys, and lives the values of Commercial Excellence

The position is in Lynchburg, Virginia (USA). Regular domestic and international travels of up to 50% will be required.

What You've Accomplished

  • BS Degree in a related field plus 15 years of related experience in developing operational and/or business process improvements in the nuclear field. An advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute for 1-2 years of related work experience. Demonstrated ability to provide results and implement change in various key management positions.

Our total rewards package

The range of base salary for the position is between $184,000 - $275,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
