Shift Leaders at Terre Haute Chick-fil-A are passionate about empowering others while building teams who care about more than themselves. They set the tone for the shift by creating a positive environment and are responsible for managing the day-to-day business activities. Our shift leaders are proficient at performing restaurant assessments around quality, safety and guest experience, while also overseeing the supervision of team member shifts and duties.

  • Managing day to day cash responsibilities
  • Master every position and become highly proficient at all
  • Motivate your team to uphold our core values
  • Running Daily Huddles
  • Overseeing daily inventory needs
  • Engaging and resolving customer complaints
  • Owning and managing daily, weekly and monthly goals
  • Shift organization and restaurant needs
  • Managing team member performance
  • Executing on the vision of our Director Team in the different areas of ownership
  • Uphold food safety and food quality


REQUIREMENTS

  • Required Qualifications: Experience as a leader in a customer service industry and/or production environment; Proven business and people results; Proven ability to lead in quick paced environments as part of a team; Basic computer competency; Basic cash handling competency; Must be available to work minimum 4 days including Friday and Saturday; Must have reliable transportation; Must be able to open and close the store as needed
  • Required Skills: Self-leader committed to personal growth; Ability to handle multiple tasks at once; Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic with a willingness to step outside of job role to assist in other roles; Customer service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members; Honors and encourages others to follow the visions and values of the restaurant
