Creative Treatment Options is a substance abuse counseling firm that has been in operation in the Denver area for 25 years. We are locally owned with a clinical and administrative staff of thirty people and three locations in Lakewood, Arvada and Commerce City.

Our primary mission is to help our clients overcome their drug, alcohol, and other substance abuse issues through thoughtful and compassionate counseling and effective business practices. We partner with many local government agencies including Jefferson and Adams county probation offices, Denver Probation, FIT, VET, and CYF Courts, the Colorado Department of Corrections, and others.

This is a great position for people who are beginning their professional careers or who are looking to build upon their existing skill set. We are looking for Front Desk Receptionists who are dependable and will come to work with a positive attitude; a team player who wants to help our clients, the front desk team, and our counseling staff succeed. Organization, professionalism, true respect for others, and positive people skills are essential.

We highly encourage those working towards, or who are interested in, degrees or certifications in psychology, therapy/counseling, substance abuse, or criminal justice to apply. We have assisted many of our former front desk staff to gain certifications, licenses, and other professional development to propel their careers. Responsibilities include:

- Running the front desk, greeting and welcoming clients, checking clients in for appointments and group classes

- Processing referrals from Probation and Parole officers and setting new clients up in our electronic health records (EHR) system. Assisting some clients with their paperwork when necessary

- Scheduling clinical intake and evaluation appointments

- Communicating by phone and email with clients, counselors, management, Probation/Parole officers, and other associated business partners

- Processing paperwork, accurate filing, and data entry

- Keeping track of office supply inventory

- Ability to learn new computer skills essential, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Teams a plus

- Any other duties that may be assigned

We ask for a willingness to drive and flexibility around changing work locations as our front desk team rotates between all 3 offices (all conveniently located along Wadsworth Blvd and/or I-70.) Schedules are guarantied at least one week in advance. Our front desk staff is a close team and they have reported higher job satisfaction when they work in all offices, building relationships face to face instead of only through email and phone calls.

Schedule:

- Monday-Thursday, 9am-7:30pm. Off Friday-Sunday most weekends.

- Rotating Saturdays (about once every month) from 8am-1pm. If you work 40 hours in the week Monday-Thursday, this 5 hour Saturday shift is paid at 1.5x hourly pay.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in customer service and/or administrative/office settings

- High school degree or equivalent

Preferred:

- Knowledge of the criminal justice system, substance abuse treatment, or case management

Benefits:

- 4/10 hour shifts and 3 day weekends (Friday - Sunday).

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
