Job Title: Forklift operator/warehouse associate

Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: Warehouse Spartanburg

II. Description

We are looking for an experienced forklift operator to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. The responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, shipping and receiving and maintenance.

III. Duties and responsibilities

The regular responsibilities for the forklift operator/warehouse associate are:

1) Receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods

2) Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

3) Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

4) Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

5) Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

6) Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment

7) Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

8) Organize and maintain inventory and storage area

9) Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.

10) Assemble products according to company procedures.

11) Operate manufacturing machines at the warehouse, after receiving the proper training.

12) Coordinate reception and preparation (picking, loading and unloading) of shipping equipment and merchandise at the warehouse facilities.

13) Ensure orders are processed in accordance with company policies.

14) Perform some maintenance activities on the facility.

15) Operate equipment and machinery at the warehouse.

Skills:

-Should have at least 2 years of forklift experience, handling heavy and bulky items.

-Hands-on commitment to getting the job done

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Strong organizational and time management skills

--Proven working experience as a warehouse worker, should have a minimum of 3 years experience in the field of warehouse operations and material handling.

-Good interpersonal skills.

-Knowledge of inventory control at operational level.

· -Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

· -Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs.

· -Current forklift license

· -High school degree or equivalent.

-Should pass drug and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Spartanburg, SC 29307: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
