THE ROLE

Under leadership of the Director of Concessions, the Concessions Manager will be responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the concession’s operations.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining proper inventory levels in concession stands, portables and bars.
  • Creating and maintaining a healthy and productive work environment to ensure that each employee is providing the best Legends experience possible to each guest.
  • Ability to learn the ins and outs of our POS system to get each event kicked off and continue to run smoothly.
  • Assist in managing labor and COGS to stay within our budget.
  • Work closely with third party vendors to ensure all needs are met.
  • Be the main point of contact at every stadium-wide event.
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, local and Legend’s regulations in all aspects of food and beverage services.
  • Oversee monthly inventory for concessions operations.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring and training of all staff.
  • Always maintain a positive attitude between staff and outside guests/clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a high-volume foodservice operation, preferably in concessions environment for a sports and entertainment venue.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to communicate with employees, vendors, client representatives and guests in a positive and professional manner.
  • Must be flexible to work extend hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures and POS Systems is preferred.
  • Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
  • Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you.
