Client is a modern precision machining job shop that has been servicing the power generation, Naval, Aerospace, satellite optics, food service and many other manufacturing
industries since 1957. Working in a team-based atmosphere with the latest technology, we provide contract machining services to a vast customer base. Our employees include highly skilled tradesmen in the industry with an average term of employment of fifteen or more years with our company.
We machine small quantities of diversified parts that range from the size of a pencil to over 13,000 lbs. machined to meet our customer’s specifications in an air-conditioned climate-controlled facility.

About the Opportunity:
Deburring / Finishing Position

• Perform finishing and deburring operations on all types of complex machined parts in various stages of completion in different types of material.
• Work pieces can range in size from small items held by hand and viewed under magnification, to parts that require a crane or hoist to lift and position for accessibility.
• Tasks also include but are not limited to deburring edges following machining, hand tapping, marking by impression stamps, solvent cleaning, polishing and occasional installation of commercial threaded inserts in machined items.
• The types of materials most commonly seen are steel, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, alloy steels, plastics and polymers of various types.
• Supplemental training will be provided.
• Work from customer drawings and specifications as well as verbal instructions with a minimum of supervision.
• All tools required are supplied by the employer.

Schedule:

40 hours per week, Mon. – Fri.

Possible 40 – 45 hours on a flexible basis depending on work load.

Status of US Citizenship
required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
