Graypoint LLC Financial Planner

Position Overview:

Graypoint LLC is looking for a client-facing, dynamic, detailed-oriented team player to join their financial planning practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning, operations, accounting, or tax preparation. The candidate should be able to work under pressure and take ownership of their work in an entrepreneurial team environment. This role reports directly to an advisor.

Graypoint is a Registered Investment Advisory firm with locations in Albany and Saratoga Springs, NY with a rapidly expanding financial planning and high-net-worth investment advisory practice.

Job Summary

Work directly with an advisor to provide financial counseling support to individual clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Handle operational tasks including new account opening, money transfers, investment implementation, and administrative work as needed;
• Prepare financial exhibits for client meetings;
• Provide comprehensive personal financial planning, investment planning, and tax planning to high-net-worth individuals;

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem-solving and client service

Required:

Candidate must have accessibility to work from home in certain situations.

This is an Exempt paid position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
