We are currently looking for a
Retail Financial Analyst (m/f/d)
Key responsibilities:

Preparation of the quarterly and annual financial forecasts, including working with commercial and planning teams to produce accurate financial forecasts for revenue, gross margin and store specific operating expenses

Support new store openings and existing store refits by providing financial analysis on future scenarios to the Expansion team
-
Deliver insightful monthly financial reporting to upper management to provide clear understanding of key drivers of retail business performance, while highlighting risks and opportunities to deliver the forecast

Support the monthly/quarterly financial close process by ensuring all accruals for retail net revenue and operating expenses are recorded properly

Provide financial support for store portfolio of 100+ stores across multiple business models, through fleet reviews, impairment analysis, capex review, etc.

Provide ad hoc retail financial analysis and reporting to North Europe Cluster management team and Corporate
Requirements:

Experienced Financial or Business analyst, preferably in the Retail sector

Knowledge of German retail environment
-
University degree in Finance or business administration or several years of industry experience

Ability to translate complex financial information into easy-to-understand presentations, reports and concepts

Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset

Good understanding of the P&L and B/S under US GAAP

Very good verbal and written communication skills in English

Strong Excel skills essential

SAP and Essbase experience preferred

Proactive approach and independent problem solving

Well organized and structured, able to manage competing deadlines

Ability to work cross functionally and build solid relationships with business partners
