As a Financial Analyst, you will support the Manufacturing Team with financial leadership to ensure plant and finance goals and objectives are achieved.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Completes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close procedures, account reconciliations, fluctuation analysis.
- Establishes judgmental reserve balances.
- Ensures all completed processes are compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Company Policy.
- Analyzes and prepares monthly financial analysis as requested.
- Works on various analysis and reporting requests from Japanese Parent Company.
- Responsible for accounting and reporting for Employee Benefit Plans.
- Works in collaboration with plant finance and corporate accounting teams as well as with other plant associates to implement effective financial analysis tools and processes to improve the plant's financial performance.
- Participates in activities such as the annual operating plan, monthly/quarterly reporting, and special analyses as necessary.
- Work with Plant leadership to identify actionable cost reduction and cash flow generation opportunities. Assist in the Standard Cost setting process of the plant and any special projects/assignments as applicable to the position.
- Responds audit requests from internal and external audits.
- Supports the completion of payroll for all salaried employees, assuring compliance from a federal, state, accounting standard, and Company standpoint.
- Back up the accounting for the Expat payrolls (Gross up analysis, annual earnings analysis and W-2 preparation).
- Assist in the collection of data for payroll and benefit related audits and surveys.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or other business field is required; CPA and/or MBA or advanced degree is desirable.
- 5 to 10 years of accounting related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems: Microsoft Office Products, (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); and SAP.
- Knowledge of UKG products and Lawson a plus.
- Ability to interpret and apply current Internal Financial Reporting Standards, accounting for complex transactions and internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.

- Knowledge of payroll regulations, requirements, and processing systems a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, able to understand complex data and issues with demonstrated ability. to think and work independently.
