Camco Hydraulics is looking to hire a field service technician to troubleshoot and repair balers and compactors.

This position is Monday – Friday 8-4:30. This is NOT an On-Call position. OT is optional.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair compactor and balers on site.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on balers and compactors. Adhere to requirements and maintenance needs of equipment being serviced.
• Repair and or replace motors, pumps, cylinders, hoses, and valves.
• Complete service requests in a prompt and efficient manner. Provide exceptional customer service on site.
• Torch and cut old chutes, guide rails, etc. for removal.
• Follow all safety procedures such as lockout/tagout, fire watch and fall protection protocols.
• Install trash compactors, fabricate chutes and install cardboard balers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Troubleshooting experience.
• Mechanical and technical skills, must be mechanically inclined.
• Experience in electrical systems and components, and hydraulic system experience.
• Experience with PLC’s.
• Experience working with various hand tools and equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently with no supervision.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (including lifting and standing)
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to commit to a regular work schedule with excellent attendance

* Class B CDL license with a manual is a plus!

* Welding is a plus!

* Willing to cultivate talent.

* Overtime is optional.

* Not an ON-CALL position.
