The Federal Facilities Program Manager manages the activities of ASTSWMO’s Federal Facilities Subcommittee (https://astswmo.org/federal-facilities/) and Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CEC) Steering Committee (https://astswmo.org/cec-steering-committee/).
- Overseeing the Federal Facilities Subcommittee’s and CEC Steering Committee’s activities, which include coordinating research projects, responding to emerging policy and regulatory developments, planning, and facilitating in-person and virtual meetings and trainings, and completing routine reports and briefings for ASTSWMO leadership.
- Developing and maintaining good client relationships by providing first-rate service to our members from State program offices and our partners in the federal agencies and other non-profit associations, and
- Managing cooperative and financial agreements, which includes preparing and monitoring workplans and budgets, completing routine financial and progress reports, and regular coordination with our funding partners.
What You’ll Bring:
- BA/BS Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Must be adaptable to respond to emerging trends, changing priorities, and willing to learn.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, and experience working with a diverse group of teams and individuals.
- Grants or contracts management experience.
- Experience planning and organizing meetings and large conferences.
- Ability to organize and implement projects with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in MS Office software programs.
