Job Purpose

The purpose of the Facility Maintenance and Sanitation position is to upkeep the warehouse facility while working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, buffing, and polishing.
• Scrub all warehouse docks and aisles.
• Cleaning up debris throughout warehouse (broken pallets, plastic, trash, etc.)
• Emptying out trash throughout warehouse, breakrooms, and office areas.
• Cleaning bathrooms using appropriate cleaning supplies.
• Managing cleaning supplies and submitting orders to appropriate parties.
• Refilling hand sanitizer machines as needed.
• Minor maintenance work regarding plumbing, painting lines in warehouse and touch-ups, painting guard rails as needed for touch-ups.
• Outdoors maintenance and upkeep (repaint parking lines, repair ground sprinklers, etc.)

Qualifications and Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse setting focused on sanitation and maintenance.
• Demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand throughout 8-hour shift and have full range of motion. (Standing, reaching, moving, bending, and lifting to 40 pounds.)
• Strong attention to detail and able to work independently or with a team.
• Minor plumbing experience. (Replacing a faucet or installing a sink.)
• Repair drywall as needed.
• Ability to follow all safety procedures.
