Job description
Support the F&B Manager in all aspects of managing the team. Provide administrative support to F&B management including the Executive Chef, F&B Director and/or Assistant F&B Managers.
Must be able to stand, move and work throughout the kitchen and dining areas; including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry up to 30lbs on an intermittent basis.
Essential Duties
- Assist with any member or guest issues/concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Uphold the company’s commitment to superior food and beverage and hospitality, work with all food and beverage staff to adhere to exemplary service standards
- Continuously create and implement new ideas for training and development of F&B staff
- Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale
- Monitor inventory levels through regular inventory checks
- Manage market lists and place orders for required products as needed
- Conduct a weekly inventory count of all Comfort Station items
- Assist with execution and development of training Comfort Station Attendants to ensure they understand the role and expectations
- Make sure all comfort stations are in compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations at all times
- Make sure daily set-up and break down is consistent and in line with SOP
- Adhere to all food safety and liquor laws. Ensure compliance with all health, safety and hygiene legislation.
- Maintain and update menu pricing in point of sale system. Check accuracy of covers and average checks.
- Assist with conducting monthly physical inventories on all beverage areas. Update all inventory spreadsheets with costs and vendors.
- Timely completion of invoice processing, including proper coding
- Record keeping of transfers in/out.
- Introduce and monitor par stock levels in all beverage outlets.
- Ensure all items are stored in properly locked areas and monitor control of keys for all such areas.
- Assist planning and implementation of F&B training and SOP materials. Update and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Assist to monitor service and F&B standards in all outlets so that managers can take corrective action as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the F&B management team.
Qualifications

- 3 or more years F&B administrative experience with upscale hotel/restaurant.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task, have strong organizational skills.
- Must work well in fast paced environment and under pressure.
- Demonstrated competence with Word, Outlook, Excel and have point of sale experience.
- Ability to operate general office equipment such as phones, copiers, scanners.
- Has current TAM card, food handler’s card.
- High school diploma or GED
