Our Automotive Technician Position Will Pay $ 25- $50 an Hour (Flat and/or Flag Rate) depending on Experience.

We are looking for Technicians Lube, to Mainline, Journey and up to Master Technicians. Technicians with independent shop domestic experience are welcome to apply!

A technician capable of diagnosing and repairing any system of the automobile to dealership and manufacturer's standards with little to no supervision. Diagnose and repair to specifications -- brake, exhaust, basic electrical, cooling system, suspension and alignment, perform all maintenance services.

• Perform maintenance services I.E. Brakes, fluids, filters, etc.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety and environmental rules

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred, but not required

High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification preferred Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
