ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • To monitor VIPs and special requests from groups.
  • To actively participate in sales meetings sharing action plans and results.
  • To understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • To promote and comply with all policies and procedures of Cavallo Point.
  • To immediately comply with all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
  • To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
  • To practice safe work habits at all times, to avoid injury to self and others.
  • To assist, as directed, to ensure safe work practices of all Sales staff, including compliance with company and departmental safety rules and regulations and the proper use and handling of all relevant equipment.
  • To attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
    • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team to facilitate solutions and meet deadlines.
    • Must be professional in appearance.
    • Follow Company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • A minimum of 2+ years of hotel sales or like experience
  • Computer proficiency and experience with: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Amadeus. Experience with Opera a plus.
  • A BA or BS degree in business or hospitality management is a plus
