About the job:
The Events Programming Associate will be responsible for coordination and execution of all programming for events organized by the company. This includes ensuring that all events are high-quality, engaging, and aligned with the company's brand and values. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful event planning and execution, excellent leadership and team management skills, and a deep understanding of the real estate industry and related markets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of an all-inclusive event programming strategy that is consistent with the company's objectives and brand.
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure that all events are executed to a high standard of quality and professionalism
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and editorial teams, to determine topics, panel discussions and develop event concepts and themes that align with the company's brand and business goals
- Identify and secure speakers for various engagements such as panels, keynote addresses, and video appearances. This involves building relationships with key players in the real estate industry and persuading them to participate in events.
- Research through interviews with reporters, management, and industry experts, attending events, and reading relevant publications to identify the most captivating and noteworthy speakers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, sponsors, and partners to support event programming initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event programming and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the company's event offerings
- Ensure that all events are executed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
3 years of experience in event planning and execution, with a track record of successful events in the real estate industry or related markets
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing a team of event producers and other staff members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Knowledge of event planning software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
