EVENT COORDINATOR AND SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
Job description
We are looking to add a new member to our Mercedes-Benz family. You should be creative, positive, organized, patient and flexible!
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Plan, coordinate and market client related on site events
- Plan and coordinate team celebration events
- Plan and coordinate joint ventures with sponsored offsite events
- Plan and coordinate community service and volunteer projects
- Proficient with photography and video editing
- Continually develop a library of resources for social media
- Collaborate with photographer and videographer for content
- Under limited supervision, create, execute and evaluate social media strategy.
- Create blogs and team member e-newsletters
- Create content and post on all social media platforms
- YouTube
- Linked-In
- Google Business Page
- Yelp Business Page
- Engage with online comments, messages and reviews
- Create, order and maintain marketing materials to include promotional items, brochures, etc.
- Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces and offsite events
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
- Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
- Advanced use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individual of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Maintain and thrive in a healthy culture
- Assist with Front Greeter position - 2 days a week
- Run errands and assist GM
- Assorted Various Tasks
- Assist Marketing & eCommerce Director
- Some evening and weekends are required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
