Position Overview:
Become a leader within Navistar’s IT Organization. As a Lead ERP Analyst, you will have the opportunity to drive and deliver innovative capabilities with industry leading products. This role will provide technical analysis expertise in identifying, analyzing, and evaluating technical requirements. This role will also plan and execute system, integration, and user acceptance testing. May lead cross-functional teams to address business and/or systems issues. Strong initiative to learn new systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform the Lead Technical Analyst role for the ERP applications including Peoplesoft, Oracle EBS, FIS Asset Finance, etc.,
  • Work with the business and IT team to identify, analyze, and document business/technical requirements.
  • Lead and be part of strategy in ERP system implementations, upgrades, and support with a strong focus on ensuring that Finance, Treasury, and Accounting Data are in compliance with policies as well as securitization servicing and reporting requirements.
  • Lead identification of process breakdowns, and controllership issues in IT systems and implement automations to improve.
  • Design, implement, and support automated, reliable, and available IT solutions including but not limited to Tuxedo, WebSphere/WebLogic, People Tools, Peoplesoft applications, Phire, UiPath, Oracle applications, SAP Crystal, Blockly, Neopost, FIS, and SailPoint.
  • Lead performance testing efforts including documenting Non-functional Requirements, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, defining KPIs, and analyzing performance issues.
  • Work with infrastructure and IT operations team to ensure projects are on track and meet expectations.
  • Work with enterprise security to configure SSO and systems’ compliance with enterprise security policies.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity for ERP applications.
  • Configure ERP Financial modules, lead SIT/Regression/performance testing with end-to-end scenarios, and coordinate with onsite and offshore teams.
  • Utilize Six Sigma / Lean and Agile Project Management tools to track and maintain project’s progress.
  • Lead project teams to ensure milestones are met.
  • Provide updates to IT and Business Leadership.
  • Supporting and ensuring the successful financial close of several sub-modules, and General Ledgers in Finance applications for several business units at Navistar.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 8 years of applications analysis experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
OR

  • Master’s degree
  • At least 6 years of applications analysis experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
  • At least 10 years of applications analysis experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in management information systems/Computer Science/or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of strong technical experience in systems or modules of System Administration of Peoplesoft and Oracle applications.
  • At least 5 years of Experience in working with UNIX, Linux and Windows servers.
  • Proven success with design, testing, and training on new implementations/enhancements of ERP and Business applications supporting businesses of Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Heavy Manufacturing, and CRM.
  • Proven background in ensuring effectiveness of SOX and Internal controls within financial systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with design, troubleshooting, and user inquiries.
  • Facilitate requirement sessions with process owners to define scope and requirements.
  • Proficient with documenting requirements, specifications, user guides, processes, and test cases.
  • Experience in planning, executing, and documenting test results.
  • Experience in creating queries using SQL.
  • Experience with Oracle ERPs, Sales Tax systems, PeopleSoft FSCM (Finance & Supply Chain Management), and FIS Asset Finance is a plus.
  • Experience with General Ledger, Project Costing, Asset Management, and T&E processes.
  • Experience with workflow and role security techniques.
  • Experience with integrations and performance tuning.
  • Experience with ERP application installations, configuration, patching, upgrades, and support
  • Assist in the training of others.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills are essential.
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple projects
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional and project teams within Business and IT organizations.
