Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital is hiring a full time (12:30PM-9:00PM) Environmental Services Aides to primarily be responsible for the upkeeping and cleanliness of the Kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep and mop floors and all storage/walk-in areas
• Wipe down and disinfects all surfaces
• Routinely dipose of trash in receptycles
• Cleans, organizes, and maintains fridge for cleanliness
• Cleans the stove tops & crevices
• Removes kitchen vents/hoods to clean them
• Cleans the ovens
• Cleans the shelves
• Assists with the organizing and storing of kitchen supplies, equipment, utensils, and pots/pans.
• Washes dishes
• Cleans up all spills to assure that there are no falls
• Dusts
• Deep cleans floor mats
• Cleans the kitchen sinks/drains/and garbage areas
• Disposes of expired food
• Cleans exterior of appliances
• Wipes down fridges to remove fingerprints and smuges
• Cleans beverage dispensers and refills them as needed
• Clean oven walls/doors/racks
• Clean and sanitize ice machine
• Run cleaning chemicals through coffee machines
• Wash behind hot lines
• Wash coffee machines and filters
• Remove all grease build-up
• Empties the sanitize buckets and refills them with water and cleaner
• Puts all cleaning rags in the laundry
• Empty steam table and clean
• Wash meat slicer
• Wash and sanitize all surfaces (cutting boards, reach-in, line, prep table)
• Ensures that the restroom near the kitchen is always tidy and there is paper towels and soap.
• Refills all chemicals and informs Supervisor if any need to be ordered
• May assist with labeling items and checking them for expiration
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 years of experience in housekeeping/janitorial work
• Must be able to work in the United States
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions
