As an Engineering Manager (m/f/d), you will establish and lead various cross-functional teams within a fast paced and growing environment. At Xentral, you will develop and expand the functions of Xentral together with your team in a high impact role and thus contribute to making the ERP market a little more innovative. Your Tasks
- You work closely with your product partner, accountable for technology to deliver on the product strategy and for a high quality user experience
- You lead a cross-functional team and grow a healthy and productive engineering team with a sustainable rhythm of delivery
- You participate and challenge your team's decisions on software architecture, making the appropriate trade-offs based on quality, scalability and cost aligned with the technology strategy of the company
- You grow the technical expertise of the people that report to you through technical leadership and advocating for sound software engineering practices such as continuous delivery
- You grow people and the team trough hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, process and continuous improvement efforts
- You are an active member of the engineering leadership team of Xentral Product Engineering, developing and growing the department
Your Profile
- You have a solid software development background and are familiar with modern and scalable software development practices
- You have proven experience in at least a higher-level programming language and it's ecosystem (ideally PHP, Java/Kotlin, Golang)
- You already have several years of experience in managing technical teams and are committed to high management and leadership practices, such as delegating effectively and implementing a feedback culture
- You are comfortable working with common agile practices
