We have an opportunity for a Regional Medical Education Manager which reports to the Content Delivery Manager. This role will be responsible for the management of all events around medical education in the EMEA region and will be accountable for delivering an 18-month rolling calendar of product training and education (PTE) events to achieve ASD and AWM strategy.

Essential Job Functions
Manage best-in-class medical education face-to-face and digital events according to the company strategy (key messages & product portfolio), based on the curriculum developed by Global Content Development
Management and delivery of medical education symposiums at 3rd party congresses
Faculty management and collaboration with Professional affairs for contract management
Develop strong relationships with regional and national marketing teams (strategy, focus products, target groups)
Work closely with the EMEA Medical Education Cluster Leaders and their teams to deliver regional training and support national events as required.
Develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with internally recognized KOLs and other knowledge experts within the medical / healthcare communities
Accountable that event planning is compliant with Company and Industry guidelines.
Develop, manage, and deliver projects to implement new education formats, set direction and shape future needs for medical education programme offerings
Delivery of training to internal EMEA colleagues and other leading projects
Drive improvements in the delivery of our medical education activities across the EMEA region
Collaborate with procurement on Medical Education Events operations, e.g. for venue sourcing and evaluation (hotels, meeting venues, dinner locations etc.), operations (travel & accommodation, welcoming, meeting administration, etc.)
Lead nomination and registration process for faculty, delegates, and staff members through Cvent,
Responsible for all communications relating educational activities
Develop and implement best practices for pre and post evaluation, assess Medical Education effectiveness through close interaction with sales and marketing
Lead others to solve complex problems taking a holistic view on the business needs, exercising judgement and identifying innovative solutions
Requirements
  • University degree in the field of medical technology, health management, business administration, digital communication, project management or other technical or science career
  • 10+ years of experience planning and executing educational events
  • 7+ years medical device or healthcare experience preferred
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English, any other language is a plus
  • Pro-active and communicative team player with proven project management skills, attention to detail, driven by quality and trust and prioritizing to the right activities that lead to success
  • Pragmatic problem-solving skills, manage projects independently and prioritize workload with minimum supervision, organizational skills for managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to lead functional teams or projects, or proven track record managing a team
  • Good influencing, negotiating and conflict resolution skills, professional and personal integrity
  • Proficiency in Cvent, setting up nomination and registration databases supporting participant management, advanced Microsoft Office skills, InDesign skills preferred
  • Knowledge of EUCOMED, CNOM, MDEON, S&N Code of Conduct and GPPs
  • 30-40% travel within Europe
