EEG Tech (Sleep Lab) - WILL TRAIN

Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.0 | On Call/Flexible Workforce position | Variable Hours/Variable Days. Taking some call (being on standby to come in after hours) may be required.

Salary: This position starts at $20.53 an hour. Increase is based on years of relevant experience. No experience in EEG's required. Training provided.

Position Summary

Asante Three Rivers Medical Center (ATRMC) in Grants Pass is a community hospital that offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon. The 125-bed hospital combines the small hospital feel with the high-tech capabilities of a modern facility.

The EEG Tech for the Sleep Lab performs high quality, personalized care in diagnostic testing involving electroencephalograms, evoked potentials, hearing screens, and sweat chloride studies. This role may require cross-training in setting up holter monitors and event monitors, and scanning holter studies. The ideal candidate would be interested in pursuing training and certification as a Polysomnographic Tech.

Qualifications

Experience

• While no previous EEG Tech experience is required, previous direct patient care experience such as Medical Assistant, CNA, or Cardiac Monitor Tech is preferred

Licensure/Certifications

• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
• REEGT: Registered EEG Technician, preferred
