Summary

Looking for some amazing talent, for the upcoming school year 2023-2024! Please note the role we seek will have varying pay scales, based on qualifications and difference of a Educator, SEL Associate and Floater with experience vs Intern and/or Certificate.

All positions below will involve working with students ages 3-18, obtaining a clean personal background and criminal background check, and maintaining a professional demeanor while working with staff, students and parents (at all times).

Educator - Must have college degree, be a 4th year student (internship for practicum hours), or Bachelor's or Master's degree candidates for delivery of instruction to students (an ideal candidate) for consideration.
In addition to the above, candidates will administer instruction to students ages 8-18 in the area of ELA, Math, Science, History or Social Studies.

SEL Associate - Working with children ages 3-18, candidate must have a professional demeanor, able to get along with both staff, children and families.

Floater - This position will assist and serve as support to classrooms and current staff. A certificate in Early Childhood Education, Paraprofessional Certificate, Associates degree or current college student at an accredited university system is required.

Positions are available during the hours of 7:30am-2:30pm M-Thursday, Fridays 7:30am-12:30pm and require onsite presence. There are no remote roles available. Qualified applicants will be contacted asap.

Duties

Assist educators in preparing and planning age-appropriate content for students with specific areas of curriculum
Actively engaging with children and staff in a professional manner at all times
Listening and Understanding mood momentum of children; documenting activities daily for PreK students
Working with Speech and Occupational therapist for educational planning in the classroom for those students who require therapy
Taking ownership of responsibility for main room and clean up, supply room inventory and lunch and restroom schedule for children
Working knowledge of all DECAL rules and regulations, with the ability to train staff if applicable
Working in a team environment, displaying a positive demeanor while onsite and in the presence of staff, children, and families

Requirements

SEL Associate and Floater
Minimum 3 years' experience working with age 4 - 6 children, who may have a confirmed or suspected diagnosis such as Autism [all students are independent with feeding, toileting, and hygiene with no behaviors]
Actively working candidates only; must have current verifiable work history
CDA, Associates Degree or experience working with the varying population is required for this role
Current CPR required
Must have Driver's License in case of transport
Bi-lingual candidate is a plus
3rd or4th year ECE student is a plus;3rd or 4th year college student is a plus!
Working experience with MSOffice package [Excel and Word] to create documents required
