Rigaud Global Company, a leading health communications firm, seeks a talented and experienced Drupal Developer to join our team. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in creating and maintaining Drupal-based websites for scientific audiences and a broader readership interested in biological and biomedical science. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Drupal-based websites targeting scientific audiences and the general public interested in biological and biomedical science
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to ensure the delivery of engaging and informative web experiences
- Implement responsive web design approaches to support content viewing on various devices, including mobile devices
- Perform back-end updates for optimal content display on handheld devices, stacking content and minimizing graphics use where possible
- Integrate multimedia content, such as videos and interactive elements, to enhance user engagement
- Ensure usability and Section 508 compliance reports are reviewed periodically and necessary changes are implemented promptly
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continually improve web properties
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Drupal Developer, preferably in the health communications or scientific domains
- Strong knowledge of Drupal core, modules, and themes
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile development
- Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and usability best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for bridging the gap between the scientific community and the general public through web development
