JOB SUMMARY: The Diversity and Inclusion Director will develop, implement, monitor, integrate, and elevate the D&I program within the organization. The position will influence and facilitate the decision-making process through policy writing, strategic planning, and intentional goal setting. The D&I Director will schedule and facilitate D&I related trainings and provide support to the D&I Council, Employee Resource Groups and ongoing diversity dialogue sessions
EDUCATION/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years designing and implementing organizational change initiatives with diverse stakeholders (ie Professional Development, Large Group Facilitation, Survey Data Tracking/Analysis)
Experience in facilitating D&I sessions and ideally training D&I facilitators
Expertise with best practices, cutting edge theory, and organizational change theories for ensuring a Diverse and Inclusive organization.
Experience with serving diverse communities and deep engagement with supporting internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy
Proficient in word, excel, PPT, and Zoom
Deep commitment to enhancing organizational culture and values, especially related to DEI
Ability to build trust, relationships, and credibility quickly with people in various roles at all levels of the organization
Team player with extraordinary written and verbal communication skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Set a clear vision of D&I in partnership with CHRO and D&I Council, including determining/updating operating practices to be more inclusive while solidifying culture goals.
Collaborate with D&I council and CHRO to provide recommendations and feedback.
Create structures/frameworks/operating norms with the D&I Council to support advisory, collaboration and feedback.
Lead through actions as an Ambassador for D&I to external stakeholders.
Collaborate with leaders to set goals/targets within work streams that elevate and support D&I in the organization (ie programming, encouraging cross functional team engagement)
Monitor and Report on D&I outcomes to staff and leadership on D&I survey metrics
Lead DEI Survey design, roll-out, and data tracking and reflection
Partner with the D&I Council, Employee Resource Groups, Human Resources, and Leadership Development Team, to organize D&I training and development across the organization and track and monitor feedback to gauge effectiveness and problem solve gaps
Identify and support consultants that serve as experts for areas of need
Partner with D&I Council and Employee Resource Groups to report on outcomes/ updates
Support ongoing diversity dialogues sessions and train D&I facilitators
Partner with the Director of Communications for regular updates and act as a conten consultant
Regularly will travel to the Community Health Centers and PACE to establish open communication and promote D&I effores with leadership and staff
