Winnisquam Regional School District seeks a District Coordinator ?Provide behavior support and resources in teams, classrooms, and individual settings;?Provide coaching on research based methods of classroom management and behavior strategies;?Assist in development and training of procedures and training materials for district staff involved with students with challenging behaviors for the purpose of providing a safe and effective educational environment;?Facilitate a District MTSS-B committee to align K-12 behavior expectations and discipline responses and any other action plan determined by the committee;?Provide consultations and support to TIER I, II, III teams in each building; ?Provide training and support to administrators and staff on behavior documentation (office referral forms), analyzing school wide-data, and completing state reports regarding student behavior;?Consult and collaborate with administration, behavior teachers, behavior assistants and teachers to develop behavior supports and programming in and out of the classroom;?Oversee and support the development and implementation of interventions, Functional Behavioral Assessments, behavior plans and monitoring tools to assess implementation;?Act as liaison with school counselors in supporting individual student development goals;?Assist in coordinating and communication tasks related to the Office of Student Wellness and Behavior;?Assist in the support of community health partnerships and services within the school district;?Coordinate activities related to grants that support the behavioral health and wellness of students;?Coordinate schedules and services under family community outreach, including Family Student Support Liaison, Juvenile Justice, Community Mental Health Partners, with individual student plans;?District Discipline Team?Oversee and actively participate on the committee to provide a hearing for families and school personnel and students upon request (Function as a neutral party to consider both sides of a disagreement among administrators, students and families);?Determine if the proper steps have been taken during the out-of-school suspension process and provide clarification of consequences that are appealed; and?Align final determination of appeals with school policies/regulations/education law;?Participate in a variety of trainings, meetings, and committees to remain knowledgeable with policies and regulations and to ensure that the District is in alignment; and?Other responsibilities as determined/assigned by the superintendent.
