Job Description: Dishwasher/Busser

Mealtime is an important part of every resident’s day at Providence Senior Living. Each meal is not only a time to meet the resident’s nutritional needs, but also a time to socialize and reminisce about family traditions and memories around the dinner table.

Available to work early morning and/or evenings and the availability to work weekends and holidays.

Duties:

• Maintain cleanliness in back of house on dish line and equipment in kitchen.
• Remove dirty dishes after meals from common areas and take to dish line for cleaning and restocking of clean dishes.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas.
• Receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management.
• Remove Trash and breakdown boxes to take to dumpster.
• Ability to perform all steps of service in the dining room to include, but not limited to busing tables, mopping floors, restocking supplies and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Available to work early morning and/or evenings and the availablity to work weekends and holidays.
• Leads by example exhibiting the core values through servant leadership.
• Must have a high school diploma.
• Experience in food service is a plus.
• Must demonstrate the ability or work responsibility, as a team member as well as an individual
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality, and the rights and privacy of others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and general public.
• Must practice and promote Providence Policies, Mission Statement, Core Values, and Founding Principles.
• Must be 18 years of older.
• Meet all health requirements and pass background check.
• Maintain Providence Living grooming standards in the employee handbook, including, but not limited to body piercings and tattoos.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
