Introduction
Blue Ocean/Harumama is a collaborative restaurant located in the heart of La Jolla Cove. By bringing together our beloved sushi rolls, Instagram famous ramen, and character buns we are able to provide guests with a variety of exciting Asian fusion flavors. We are looking for hardworking and passionate individuals to join our team!
We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our culinary team at Blue Ocean/Harumama La Jolla for a part-time. Our dishwashers are an integral part of operations and must retain the integrity of our restaurant’s cleaning procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage loading and unloading dishwashing machines
- Appropriately store clean dishes, glassware, and utensils.
- Ensure that there are always enough clean dishes, glassware, and utensils
- Check the washing machine’s operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
- Sanitize kitchen area and floors
- Remove garbage regularly
Qualifications
- No experience necessary
- Ability to follow instructions and sanitation procedures
- Attention to detail
- Availability to work in shifts
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
