Diamondback Healthcare Center is a 94-bed subacute skilled nursing facility with numerous specialty services, including an in house dialysis den, high acuity ventilator-tracheostomy unit and skilled level memory care pavilion located in Phoenix, AZ. General Purpose
Due to the retirement of our current Director! We are seeking a new super-star Operations Director.
The position is hands on, working maintenance manager who also ensures the operation of a safe, functional, and clean physical environment for patients, employees and guests. Director performs and oversees various tasks, such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, equipment maintenance, grounds work, and janitorial duties, external patient transportation, housekeeping, central supply and dietary functions with minimal supervision. Conducts and supervises maintenance and repair projects. Performs all scheduled inspections, testing, and drills, documents these and reports on them. Obtains quotes and oversees special projects as assigned. Director is responsible for ensuring the physical plant meets all TJC, CMS, NFPA and state regulations to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors. Leads dietary function to meet all state and federal guidelines, ensures quality of food, service and clean, safe environment. The current Director will be available for questions and consultation.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Previous experience in plant operations in a hospital setting preferred. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements helpful.
• Valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using own auto.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.

May be required to work flexible hours.
