What You'll Be Doing:
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for providing guidance to the department by evaluating, and developing marketing strategies, planning/coordinating marketing efforts, communication and building awareness for the CarePoint Health brand.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Consult with Practice Managers and doctors to understand business goals and develop communication and collateral strategies that meet business goals
  • Develop and maintain a goal-oriented, performance driven department. Additionally overseeing recruiting efforts, training, and performance management
  • Build marketing and/or communications plans to execute on marketing strategies, including developing appropriate value propositions and key messaging
  • Design and execute marketing tactics, including collateral, thought leadership, community events, promotions/campaigns, patient, and medical community communications related to new doctor and service launches, as well as business as usual marketing needs
  • Create speaker’s bureau and identify opportunities for speaking engagements and attendance for doctors where they can be positioned as subject matter experts, and then coordinate all aspects including facilitating development of the presentation and promotion of the even
  • Develop content as needed for printed pieces and for the system website
  • Provide creative/design oversight across printed pieces, advertisements, etc.
  • Coordinate, manage and measure the results of community events in Hudson County
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for third party vendors such as graphic designers, PR agency, media inquiries, etc.
  • Collaborate with the online patient acquisition vendor and ensure that offline efforts are in sync
  • Build and manage program budgets to meet both business and marketing objectives
  • Oversee projects/initiatives from beginning to end, identifying measurements of success, providing project reporting and recapping results for all marketing initiatives
  • Measure the effectiveness of efforts and update strategies to ensure the maximum return on investment is achieved
  • Interface with PR agency to identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase exposure through PR activities
  • Create and get approval of advertising strategies in coordination with system VP of Finance
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in the health care field preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication, presentation, analytical, and research skills
  • Experience with digital marketing forums
  • Ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting
  • Successfully able to work independently and collaboratively
