Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services is seeking a full-time Director of Business Development for Southeastern PA. This important role will partner with national business development, manage current payers, identify new ones and propose new business lines where applicable. This position will report to Corporate Marketing Leadership and the Executive Director of Pennsylvania Children's Services.

As a Director of Business Development you will:
  • Develop and put into action plans that identify fresh business opportunities, promote growth for the organization, and ensure that revenue targets are achieved.
  • Forge and maintain relationships with referral sources and funders, such as community organizations, MCOs, school districts, and child welfare agencies.
  • Analyze market trends and keep abreast of changes in the behavioral healthcare industry to ensure the center’s offerings stay competitive.
  • Provide others with guidance on lead generation, customer engagement, and securing contracts.
  • Maintain close collaboration with other departments to guarantee that services fulfill contractual obligations and exceed customer expectations.

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), residential treatment (RTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS), a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors, and prevents negative behaviors, to create safe, supportive living environments. Each year, more than 1,000 children and adolescents receive specialized care, in the environment best suited to the unique challenges they face, all with the goal of providing each child with the academic, social, emotional and life skills needed to flourish in their home community.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in sales, marketing, business development, public relations, communications, or other related field or eight years of experience performing comparable position or similar position with increased responsibilities.

Experience:
With preferred educational background, a minimum of five years’ experience in marketing at an organization that provides health care services. Without preferred educational background, a minimum of eight years’ related experience. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines. Valid driver's license must be maintained.

Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
