Part Time | Evening Shift

At our 5-Star Senior Care Community located in Pittsford, NY - Glenmere provides the very best assistant for our residents' daily needs, while also appealing to their cultivated sides. Our residents are safe, secure, and truly enjoy each day to its fullest.

The Dining Staff is responsible for providing food and beverages to our members.

Requirements for a Glenmere Dining Staff:

• High School or GED, preferred.

Responsibilities for a Glenmere Dining Staff:

• Setting the tables with proper place settings
• Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen stuff are running out of any item
• Understanding of established reservation system, direct customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks
• Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
• Ensuring customer satisfaction
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Filling in for absent staff as needed
• An understanding of resident diet logs and specific diets; NAS, LCS, etc.
• Assisting with special events and basic food production
