Our facility is looking for reliable team members to join the Dietary Team as a Dietary Aide.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for serving meals for the residents and to ensure all food procedures are followed which meet their individual needs and preparing meals for special events as needed.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Deliver food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas.
• Serve food in the dining room.
• Prepare and deliver snacks, etc.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc.
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.
• Assist in daily and/or scheduled cleaning duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must successfully complete an accredited food handler training course, within 60 days of employment.
• Must have knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic methods.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures. This includes cleaning assignments as scheduled, cleaning equipment and following all safety rules to protect self, other employees, residents and guests. Follow all sanitation policies and procedures for food storage preparation and transport.

WORK SCHEDULE:
As assigned; including some weekends, evenings and holidays. Non-Exempt Position

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift 50 pounds for routine performance of essential functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
