General Description:
Support the department by writing high-quality procedures and/or policies for department.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Analyze, research, and develop procedures in accordance with organizational standards, ensuring all documents are clear, concise, accurate, and represent an understanding of the intended audience.
- Create job aids and desk reference materials to assist in training, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Utilize creative thinking to suggest process streamlining or improvements required.
- Develop resource manuals and other reference material.
- Revise and update procedures as needed to ensure procedures represent current organizational practices and legal guidelines.
- Maintain procedures and/or policies for department in a central database or department intranet site.
- Track all changes and revisions to all procedural documents.
- Proofread and conduct peer reviews of documents and training materials.
- Observe representatives to learn appropriate subject.
- Various administrative duties as assigned.
Additional Duties:
- Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Associates degree preferred/High School Graduate acceptable.- Solid PC skills: Proficient with Microsoft applications, Visio, SharePoint, MSP/LPS/Black Knight desired.
- Able to incorporate or merge documents from various software applications.
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of grammatical structure and content; including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
- Ability to handle complex, multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
