STOP COUNT Deliveries is now hiring for FedEx Ground (FXG) Delivery Drivers in the Savannah Georgia area. Drivers will be servicing customers and making deliveries to local residences and businesses in surrounding areas.

Experience is not required, but it is a plus: applicants who have local area knowledge, route driver, truck driver, courier, pick-up drivers, delivery driver experience; if you have driven for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft or any other similar companies…we want to speak with you!

FXG drivers operate step vans and box trucks provided by the employer (no CDL required). The Alternative Vehicle Program (AVP) is available for applicants who qualify and wish to deliver out of personal vehicles.

Pay

· $650-$1,000/week

· 90-day performance review and raise eligibility

Schedule

· 8am until route completion (shift time is based on completing all set deliveries for the route)

· Full time and part time positions are based on work days of the week; Sun-Thurs, Tues-Sat, Sat-Wed, Weekend shifts

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

· Arrive at FedEx terminal on time to pick up vehicle and packages

· Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections

· Operate delivery vehicles safely, securely, and competently

· Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weights without damage to the packages, vehicle, or yourself

· Effectively use GPS to arrive at your destinations accurately

· Scanning and logging packages

· Drivers must arrive on time for both Vehicles and Packages

· Drivers must organize their packages for efficient delivery prior to beginning their routes.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

· Must be 21 years of age or older

· Must have a valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report

· Must be willing to submit to a background check

· Must be able to physically manage packages up to 150 lbs (handtruck assisted)

· Must be able to work in all weather conditions

· Must be able to pass a drug test and DOT physical exam (PAID BY EMPLOYER)

· Experience is strongly recommended, but not required. Training is provided.

· Applicants with a minimum of 1 full year of work-related driving experience in the last 3 years will be given preferential regard
