The Sloan School is a Christian, family owned, private preschool and elementary school that has been in operation since 1996. We have a talented and caring staff that works together to ensure that the quality of care and education our students receive each day is the best available to families in our community. All staff members are responsible for helping to maintain a clean, friendly and safe environment, ensuring the health and safety of children in our care, as well as communicating effectively and positively with parents. We are currently seeking qualified, passionate and experienced staff to fill the following positions:

Preschool Teacher – Full Time

The Chosen Candidate Will Meet the Following Job Requirements:

- Must have a positive attitude and strong classroom management skills, with an ability to relate positively with young children

- Minimum of 1 years experience in a licensed child care facility, public or private school system, or church nursery

- Must be punctual and reliable

- Must be able to attend bi-monthly evening staff meetings

- Must be 18 or older and a high school graduate

- Must pass a background check and fingerprint clearance

- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

- Certification or degree related to early childhood or preschool or elementary education is desirable, but not mandatory

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
