Database Developer
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President Operations and Engineers, this position is responsible for developing enterprise data systems to put information to work for the company. In order to be considered for this role, the candidates must live within 50 miles of Evansville, IN or be willing to relocate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with operations, lab, finance and supply chain to understand requirements and translate requirements into data models.
- Writes quality database systems code, (database structures, triggers, stored procedures, queries, deployment scripts, ), that are reliable, scalable and reusable
- Create Documentation regarding all deliverables for communication to Product Owners, Project Managers, and Development team
- Experience with agile development methodologies and source control repositories
- Configuring databases such that they are able to withstand attacks and the loss of information
- Service and update databases as required.

- FIIX – Maintenance Management System

- Production Planning and Forecasting
- Material Balances
- Standardized run reports
- Trendable Run Logs
- Electronic SOP
- Equipment utilization tracking
- Logistics and Fleet Management
- Quality Management System
- Develop dashboard and Intranet to easily access various systems
- Customer portal to access – invoices, material balances, COA
Requirements:
Skills and Education Requirements:
- Degree in information technology, computer science or adjacent field
- Certificate in Database Development
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, C++, or Java with a preference more than one of these
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities
- Expert in database applications, database programming and integration with spreadsheets
- Understanding and Experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
