Responsibilities:
Great new Career Opportunity in Long-Term Care Pharmacy!

Partners Pharmacy-Marlborough MA.

Hours: M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm & Every other Sunday


The Data Entry Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Triage and prioritization of received orders (whether phone, fax or eRX)
  • Input pharmacy order transmissions form LTC nursing facilities. Orders inclule physician orders, electronic prescriptions, IV infusion compounds, house stock and emergency order requests in a timely and accurate manner according to client-specific criteria while maintaining acceptable production quotas as determined by experience and company policy
  • Ability to develop proficiency in the utilization of all pharmacy computer systems (ie document imaging, legacy prescription managment programs)
  • Ability to work well with others, and help to maintain and manage daily workflow
  • Maintains confidentiality, security and integrity of protected health information
  • Perform all duties and requests of the supervising pharmacist on staff.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Professional Experience:
  • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy
  • PTCB license, a plus
  • Experience with Framework Software preferred
  • Strong knowledge of brand name to generic medications
  • Familiarity of standard pharmacy SIG codes
  • 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a long term care or retail pharmacy environment preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
