Purpose: Assist with preparing all lamination materials for the Lamination Department and do final Quality Assurance documentation for specific customers.
Principal Accountabilities:

- Work with and assist Cut Table Operator with accountabilities
- Prepare material kits for the lamination department
- Learn how to schedule/plan to ensure the best use of time when cutting material (i.e., if cutting 600, run/cut for multiple days)
- Prepare lamination kits to get the best yield of material
- Work with Laminator to ensure the material is correct or correct/change materials if needed
- Assist with maintaining material inventory and advise Cut Table Operator of material needs
- Assist Cut Table Operator with all necessary inventory counts
- Back up to log in received material into the ERP system
- Assure that the Cutting area and freezers are kept clean and organized at all times
- Assist Laminator to locate kitted material in freezers
- Knowledge of different types of material
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cut table maintenance requirements
- Keep Cut Table Operator updated on cutting table issues
- Work as a team and with Cut Table Operator and Team Leads
- Edit/create Excel spreadsheets
- Learn process to edit/create templates utilizing CAD software
- Learn process to digitize template to the computer
- Understands, works within, and contributes to the continuous improvement of safety, health and environment requirements; adheres to all safety policies, reports safety and risk hazards
- Other responsibilities as assigned

Education & Experience Required:
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in composites industry
- Proficient with MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Math skills to include adding, subtracting, square footage, multiplying, and division
- Positive, can do attitude
- Exemplary attendance
- Contributes to building a positive work environment
- Interacts well with fellow co-workers and other departments, and is able to effectively communicate and actively listen
- Adapts to changes in the work environment and production schedules

This position may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization. Some positions entail working with small parts/components. Employees must have excellent hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity in both hands. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
