Creative Director, Branded Entertainment. - Lifestyle, US/LATAM/UK

Condé Nast Entertainment’s global digital video teams create premium video content showcasing Condé Nast’s iconic global brands. Delivering on average over 1 billion video views per month, the team currently produces 4,000+ digital videos per year in all genres including non-scripted, documentary, how-to, comedy, animation, scripted, branded, virtual reality and (live) event programming.
The purpose of this role is to support the US Branded Creative team in the Lifestyle Division (Bon Appetit, Conde Nast Traveler, Architectural Digest, SELF) to drive audience growth and engagement with a focus on commercial revenue, delivering on Condé Nast’s preeminent portfolio of brands in the forms of:
  • Original, social, and podcast branded content for global digital platforms (e.g. O&O, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Apple iTunes, Spotify), with focus on premium, scalable quality
  • Live cultural events
  • OTT channels around the world
  • Branded video franchises that transcend platforms and markets
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop creative storytelling solutions to solve clients’ biggest challenges through our brands’ editorial voices.
  • Execute and Oversee a creative vision for projects in production through delivery.
  • Provide clear and direct notes on treatment’s from directors/talent as well as on design assets and video edits.
  • Develop a strong relationship with Sales and Marketing Teams
  • Present internally and externally to clients
  • Have an understanding of the market needs and creative executions that are performing well for clients.
  • Develop a relationship with Social, Editorial, CNE Programming and Strategy to co-develop new series for editorial sponsorship and overall franchise growth.
  • Be able to take growth priorities from brands in the Lifestyle Group and create proactive creative to take to market
  • Work collaboratively with the Content Development team to tap other creatives for insight and experience around their particular strengths and passions to deliver the best creative for a client.
  • Mentor ACDs and Junior creatives
  • Create a trusted partnership with Physical Production to work lock-step during the production process to ensure the final creative sold is executed as intended

  • Proactive - always looking for ways to foster innovative creative approaches to bring ‘never-been-done-before’ ideas to the table.
  • Has a great sense of humor but also understands the influence and gravitas of our storied brands.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $105,000 - $140,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
