Summary

Do you love to sing, dance or act? Do you have a passion for visual arts or STEM?

We are looking for Energetic, Hard-Working, Creative, FUN teachers who are comfortable being silly, extremely empathetic, understandably patient and passionate about ensuring the next generation has the opportunity to learn in a play-based environment.

Duties

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create a play-based curriculum in the key subject areas of Musical Theater, Visual Arts, Dance.
Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth.
Create a fun and safe learning environment.
Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care and well being of every child.
Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
Complete training that provides insight on child care and development topics.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or one or more related fields (Musical Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, S.T.E.A.M.)
Fingerprint Clearance Card - this takes the longest to achieve so it is preferred if you have this prior to date of hire.
High School Diploma with one year of experience working with children.
Some college with at least 6 months experience working with children.
Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
ECE Units completed or a CDA.
First Aid & CPR Certifications.
