Salary:
- Entry: $43,680.00 (Excluding Overtime, Paid Holidays, Uniform Allowance).
- Salary Top Out: $63,543.48 (Excluding Overtime, Paid Holidays, Uniform Allowance).

All Hamilton County Deputies begin their careers in the Jail Services Division, where they obtain 360 hours of paid
training within their first year of assignment. Working in the jail provides valuable experience, knowledge and
communication to prepare Deputies to advance in their careers.

Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 19 years of age, of good moral character
- Must be a US citizen
- Must not have been convicted of a misdemeanor involving immoral character or any felony
- Must be drug free
- Must submit to a criminal and personal background check
- Weight must be in proportion to height in accordance with established standards
- Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language
- Must pass written examination, physical fitness assessment, medical examination
- Successful completion of a personal background investigation
- Successful completion of 3 panel interview and a Home Interview
- Pass CVSA (Computer Voice Stress Analyzer)
- Qualified applicants must pass all phases of pre-employment testing
- No visible tattoos (in long sleeve shirt, below the cuff or above the shirt collar)
