What you have:
- A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
- ServeSafe certification, or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of culinary experience (preferred)
- Experience working with children (preferred)
- Ability to complete successful background check
What you will do:
- Create meal plans based upon established nutritional guidelines, following state and federal requirements for children
- Follow proper food safety, food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain inventory of food, supplies and equipment; place orders when necessary
- Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically
- Help with other daily center responsibilities and duties as needed
