Consultant with Focus in Project Management Automotive – HV Battery Plant
pmX is a participatively run consulting and engineering company with various locations in Europe and North America. Out of our headquarter based in Stuttgart, Germany we have two US offices in Birmingham, AL, and Detroit, MI. Responsibilities:
·Ramp-up production of high-performance lithium-ion batteries
·Project and subproject leadership support by creating, preparing, and coordinating cross-departmental processes
·Local interface and close cooperation with project management team in Germany
Project Planning and Coordination:
·Integrates tracking of planning processes in the project in cooperation with the subproject teams and involved departments.
·Customize and track process in PM tools and create KPIs.
·Creates measures in the case of recognizable goal deviations for the observance of product and production goals.
·Plans and supports planning workshops with subproject leaders of the various shops.
·Assigns, monitors, controls, and ensures the completion of work packages regarding the planning objectives as well as the maintenance of open task lists for the project.
·Reports project status to plant and project leadership
·Resolving project risks proactively without management escalation
·Cooperation and coordination with clients, suppliers, and development partners at the national and international level
·Ensures communication and the target‐oriented information flow in and out of the subprojects.
·Active participation in the further development of pmX Group
Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s Degree
·2+ years of consulting or other relevant experience
·Literacy in Microsoft 365 Suite, especially MS PowerPoint
·Advanced presentation design skills, with Think‐Cell plugin experience
·German language skills
·PMI Certificate or comparable
·Working knowledge and customization skills of PM tool e.g. Jira
·Experience in project management and task force management
·Knowledge in Agile Project Management (e.g. SCRUM)
·Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a wide range of topics and responsibilities
·Interdisciplinary team orientation, flexibility w/persuasive power
·Conflict resolution ability, with excellent communication skills
·Data management and strong organization skills
·Basic knowledge of Li‐Ion batteries preferred
·Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
